Here are shown more of my one-of-a-kind Guitar Display Hangers.  I welcome design ideas and custom orders.  Please note that while I may make additional hangers from the same basic design, no two display hangers will be exactly alike.

In mid 2007 I began to design and make one-of-a-kind display pieces for my bowed psalteries.  In most cases the psaltery and display piece are designed for each other and to complement each other.  I have received many complimentary comments on these pieces.  Last year (2008) I was exhibiting at an art fair in the West when one person came up to me and, after complimenting me on the psaltery display pieces,  said to me, "Why don't you make display pieces for guitars?" 

What an intriguing idea I thought.  I had done display pieces only for psalteries and dulcimers - instruments that I had made.  As I pondered over and "toyed" with this idea, design concepts, like seeds, began to germinate and grow in my mind.  I do not play the guitar, but I found a cheap one to use to "model" the display pieces.

Ideas continue to "germinate," but here are some of the designs completed to date.  I welcome custom orders and ideas for displays.  These remain, as do my other designs, works in progress.
